The Last Few Weeks

We've been busy the last few weeks of summer, finishing up Ezra Ministries' cabin, finishing Silas' preschool and getting ready for Kindergarten, as well as AWANAs starting back up.  Christian took a few days off at the end of August and we got to spend some time relaxing as a family. Here are some pictures of what's been going on:

Lots of cheesy grins from Eli.

Enjoying breakfast on the porch, with both a dog and a baby both begging for food.

We found this caterpillar in the garden.  The garden has since been totally consumed by caterpillars and worms.

Since cooler weather arrived, Eli got to enjoy playing outside.

However, his allergies kicked in soon and he's been a mess ever since.

He's still a cutie, though.

Christian and I celebrated 11 years together.

And Eli got some major auntie and uncle time while we went out.

We took Silas to Silver Dollar City with friends.  He got to watch a magic show.  It seemed a little bit more like a kids' comedy show, though, and the jokes went right over Silas' head.

On the swings, Silas is hiding from the camera.

We got the teacup spinning pretty fast. I could walk for a few seconds afterwards, I was so dizzy.

Our church had a Labor Day picnic at the park and we got to have a lot fun with our church family.

Throwing rocks in the White River.

Silas with a boy from church.  Good friends!

Eli got to play on the grass and practice walking on the sidewalk.

And goof off a little, too.
