Silas Turns Seven

This amazing and wonderful boy is growing up.

He is such a joy to have around. He's quiet and reserved a lot of the time, but get him talking about his favorite subjects and he'll open up pretty quick.

He loves legos, reading, playing computer games, and anything to do with armies/battles.

He is sweet and sensitive and is very giving with his hugs and cuddles.

He's also strong and tough.

He loves being read to but also is reading on his own and enjoying that, too.

He's a pretty good shot. Definitely has his daddy's eye.

We took him to the Red Ryder museum for his birthday.

Then we went to his aunt's house to try out his new bike and new razor scooter from Auntie Char.

I made a Lego cake for him.

Sadie and Wyatt ate it with us.

Celebrating with the Hills.

And with Grandma and Grandpa.

He's so sweet and wonderful.

We had a picnic together at a park in Ft. Smith after the Answers in Genesis Conference, which was the day before Silas' birthday.

That's where Auntie Char gave him his present, the new Razor.

He's been a blessing for seven outstanding years.
