Eli has fussy time at "the witching hour." Every evening from about 5:30 until 7:30 he cries, and there's not much you can do about it. Last Sunday, Christian was holding Eli and trying to get his crying to a whimper instead of the roar that was coming from him when Silas asked if he could help quieten him. So Christian sat Eli on the table in front of Silas so that he could look at him.
Eli completely stopped crying.
Eli laid there and looked at Silas' face for a couple of minutes until he started whimpering again. Christian picked him up and started bouncing him around, but when he started really crying he again put Eli right under Silas' nose.
Again, Eli completely stopped crying. He just laid there and watched Silas' face. We did this several times, and every time Eli would stop crying and look at his big brother.
Silas' face lit up, "He likes me!"
