We spent Independence Day with Christian's family.
After a quick dinner, we played a few games while waiting for the weather to cool down outside.
Then off we went to the park in Huntsville.
We stayed with Charlotte's church around the volleyball courts, where they had drinks and snacks for everyone.
The kids played while we waited for the sun to go down.

Huntsville put on an impressive show.
Silas loved it.
Eli was getting tired, but every once in a while he would peak up at the bright lights.
It was a nice evening; the ideal American holiday.
