The Beach

While on our trip to Texas, we took Silas to play at the beach with Grammy and Jed. He had been asking to go to the beach for months so that he could build sandcastles. It was a really nice day, but the wind coming off the Gulf was just a little too chilly to stay out there for long.

The blue Texas sky, and my boy suffering through one of many pictures I took of him.

Daddy took him down to the edge of the water. It was definitely too cold to get in.

Racing the waves.

This is Lisa and Joe's youngest son, Jed. He had a broken wrist, that's why he has a glove on his left arm. Silas was excited about going to the beach, but wanted to bring Jed with him. Jed was great; he didn't even mind when Silas would come over and bash his castle over.

Silas and Daddy's castle. This soon got plowed down by tanks and soldiers.
