Playing at the park with friends

Here are some more great photos from our trip to Texas. We met Grammy at the park and took Jakin and Jed with us. It was a lot of fun.

A game of keep-away with a stray tennis ball (don't worry, Silas isn't the one in the middle, Christian is! Jakin's on the other side). This was near the end of our trip and Silas hadn't had a nap in three days, so he was getting pretty tired by the time we left the park.

Joe and Lisa's boys swinging. This is the same park where my sister and I used to play when we were kids. I'm pretty sure these are the exact same swings, as well. The old rocket that we used to climb up and ALWAYS had a bee's nest at the top, though, was gone.

Jakin and Silas playing with cars up and down the slide. The boys' patience with Silas was great and they played with him on his level. He loves playing with older boys like these two and Uncle Blake. Not so much the loud, aggressive older boys at the Chick-Fil-A playgrounds, though.

I do have some pictures of Silas with his grandmother, but knowing how she feels about photos I chose to not include them.

P.S. My sister and her husband found out yesterday that they are having twins!! A boy and a girl that are due in August. Woohoo! So now Silas has a cousin his age (Abigail), and this next (still unnamed) son will have two cousins near his own age as well.
