New things

We're leaving our house today and won't return until we have a newborn in tow. Shana has invited us to stay with her these last few days of my pregnancy, to help when it's time to go to the hospital and to help me out with Silas in the evenings. So, we're packing up some clothes, toys, food, and a dog and heading to Bella Vista in a couple of minutes.

Our life will be completely different when we return. I can't help but remember how before Silas was born I was a little bit worried about how having a child would affect my relationship with my husband and how it was going to change. Such a silly thought now, as it has only gotten better and grown since his birth. But it does make me think the same thing about my relationship with Silas. These are the last few days we have where it's just the three of us and I'm enjoying them. I know that adding Eli is only going to strengthen and grow our family, but it's still a little bittersweet.
